I put a couple of cabinets together today, just finishing up the door adjustments.
Menards house brand version of Ikea particle board knock down put it all together with a screwdriver and hammer kit. Supposedly made for garage use, was cautioned on a home improvement forum to not use them in a garage in Iowa as humidity and temp cycles would drastically shorten life span so put them together for basement use next to laundry machines. Large enough to hold quite a bit of crap, I'm anticipating taking out some older (crappy) cupboards and enjoying a better organized space. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Watching the first of this snow storm begin. We have a long way to go. But it started on time, about two hours ago. They are now calling for anywhere from 15 inches to 24 inches of snow.
UGH. On a good note - I texted my landlord and offered my other half and my sons as workers to help clear snow from sidewalks in exchange for a reduction in rent next month. He agreed. I'm happy about that. Disclaimer: I am only responsible for what I say, not what you choose to understand.

Oh I was so hoping this snow would not have made an entrance. I wanted to enter spring peacefully and quietly but noooooooooooooooo. The fucking snow just had to rear its ugly head.

Up at 5 in the morning for no damn good reason because I can't sleep. I don't know whether it's the ache in my back, the food I ate just before midnight, or all the caffeine I had yesterday, but something won't let me sleep.
