I'm dying to know if he would have been blunt if I wasn't though. I mean, had I came out more like my Dad that probably wouldn't be "foreign" enough for them... but eh

I'm probably not going to take it anyway. The pay is diabolical even by local standards and they're not even offering accommodation as part of the package. I'd have to bust my ass on freelance work in all my spare time just to make up for it.
