I was a born-again christian for many years then I got woke.. and now life is better in so many ways. It's taking me time to see my value and find my voice, but the reward is liberating knowing my path is not dictated or controlled by fear of death and the unknown. Casting off the shackles of religion is pretty fucking awesome. The beautiful people I've met on this forum have more heart and compassion than any group of people I've been apart of. So back off Jesus and followers, because this bitch is done with Chu.

Had a 'heads up' a college instructor I had particularly enjoyed taking a class from was going to be in one of my haunts so I made it there and did get to see him.
I didn't expect to be recognized after 33 years, (and wasn't) but I did share with him I really enjoyed the class and had managed to parlay it into a recent accomplishment I told him about, and he was very pleased. He also mentioned he's moving to the southwest in a few months, so it's a good thing I didn't wait too much longer to do this. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
Went out for coffee and wrote a blog post.
Currently doodling on a guide sheet, experimenting with letter shapes in an attempt to improve my rather frightful cursive handwriting -- if it has to be read by someone else, I usually print in all caps. Also trying to talk myself into going downstairs and eating an actual meal, as I've just had 2 small snacks since breakfast 10 hours ago. 
Taking in a YouTube sermon from a local megachurch pastored by a former Charger who really. Hates. Gays.
