Appears as though my workout is postponed.

The weather page states "partly cloudy", with only 20% chance of rain, yet there's a huge dark cloud mass hovering over the area and not even moving. I keep waiting to see if it's going to rain or not, but that dark cloud mass just keeps remaining in the same spot in the sky, covering the sun, and steadily making it darker in the area.

It appears that the clouds are finally rolling away, so I am going to attempt a workout before it becomes too sunny and hot.

Ben can verify this because I sent him video but we had very severe storms blow through here. 2.24 inches of rain fell in a 45 minute period of time causing flooding of roads, down trees and poles and wires, collapsed structures and fires. It was not safe for me to drive to work. I left messages for my boss 1 1/2 hours before I was due in stating that York county 911 dispatch was placing the county under what is called a Phase 1 Emergency, meaning if you don't have to be out - stay where you are. That is exactly what I did. I was told I was getting written up for it. 

Sorry. Not sorry. A minimum wage job is not worth me getting in an accident, losing my life over or hurting or killing someone else in my quest to go to a salon, which quite frankly, doesn't appreciate their employees. I love cutting, coloring and styling hair. I really do. But I will not do it when the company wants to write me up for me wanting to keep myself safe during storms which not only carried torrential downpours, but hail, lightning and dangerous winds. Not for $7.25 an hour. Fuck that shit.

But, you know what? I've been with men who treated me badly before. And what I learned was, I kept attracting them. And it's not your fault, but we do teach people how to treat us, by what we accept. So, at some point, you accepted certain things, you know? And now, you have to really reflect and say 'no more, I'm not accepting this' And if people leave you over it, they were the wrong people to be in your life. It's hard, change is hard. Especially when it means that we might lose people who don't like the changes. But, I'd rather be alone on a deserted island forever, than alone in a relationship. You can do this.

1000 time this. You are so very right on every thing. Sometimes we can't just up and leave. For me, right now it's two fold. One the kids and two finances. I'm not leaving my stepsons behind and I can't afford to leave right now.
