My daughter is friends with a 10 year old neighbor. She's here now visiting and told me she is going to some type of classes at a Mormon church to "mold" her into a better person. She said her mom used to be a heathen and these Mormon people also helped her mom. Poor child - she said that she has ADHD and talks too much so they're trying to "help" her with that.

Why the fuck would anyone tell a 10 year old girl that she talks too much? Fucking people.

Religious people wrongly perceive their actions as good because they are guided by a primitive-aged mythology. Slapping them upside the head doesn't do a damn thing, because they turn the other cheek as though they are the better person. Talking to them does no good, because they merely hear rabble from clearly logical mouths while their religious minds act as a schizophrenic voice of comfort that merely supports the delusion.

Yep, which is why I'm going on with my happy heathen ways. Let the chips fall where they may, as long as they don't proselytize with me.
I did tell the neighbor girl - who is one of the best behaved, normal kids I've encountered - that she's fine just the way she is and she's not "crazy" like these religious people are saying.
