Cutting the last stencil that I need for the eclipse-commemorating T-shirt I'm painting, lettering for the front that says "2017.08.21".  Tonight I painted half of the corona and stopped to let it dry, and will be painting the rest of it tomorrow.  Will post a picture once it's finished.

I'm using glow-in-the-dark fabric paint mixed with regular acrylic paints to make the acrylics more flexible.  I turned out the light in my office to shoo a wayward moth away from the overhead light, and I could see the bottle glowing in the dark. This promises to be fun, although I have no idea how much of a glow there'll be from the mixed paints.

I'm pondering the meaning of life. Seriously, I am. It's very tiring, but some positive things are coming from it.

And Catholic_Lady, deactivating that is the best thing you could do. I have mine up, but rarely post. I can't watch people pretend to live fairy tale lives, when it's ridiculously far from the truth.

I saw my love off at the airport today, and drove home on back-country roads, chewing over the days we've spent together both this week and back in June, knowing more than ever that we're on the right course. I bask in her love and will spend my days working to give her the same glow she gives me.

I'm pondering the meaning of life. Seriously, I am. It's very tiring, but some positive things are coming from it.

It's a good exercise to undertake, in my experience. I don't think life has any intrinsic meaning, but I do think each of our lives have meanings we imbue ourselves, and speaking only for myself, that is an enriching thing.
