The problem is that sometimes the ER doctors are more dismissive than helpful.

My dad stopped watching the NBA because he thought they were just dragging everything out so that they could sell more tickets and play more commercials, but doesn't see that's exactly what the NFL does, too - time out after time out so they can break for commericals and sell you shit knowing you'll stick around to see how the game ends!
That's one reason I can stand to watch soccer on TV - only commercials are before and after the game, at half time and during hydration break if there even are any! otherwise it's 45 minutes+ of uninterrupted game.
I watch one NFL game each week (Broncos!) and usually start about an hour after kickoff. I don't care how many commercials there are because I simply zip through them with the fast-forward button on the remote. Yay, DVR!
I've heard it works for other sport, and even TV shows too.

Often, unfortunately, they're run off their feet and some will dismiss cases without really investing the time.

I don't have cable, nor a DVR.
Also, I don't give a shit about football. At least not the american kind...

Nice of my client to not show up tonight. Could have saved me the time and wear and tear on my car by letting me know you weren't coming in.

You don't have a way of communication through the phone?

As a general rule, I don't give out my cell phone number to clients - especially ones I haven't met yet. She didn't even bother to call the salon to cancel her appointment.
Not happy about that at all. On the bright side, we did my hair instead. I'll post a photo in the member's photos thread.
