Fuggin heartburn. Angry  Woke up from a sound sleep; I popped a Zantac and am sipping cold water to rinse the acid back down. I'm already tired enough from the sick dog keeping us up. Sleepy

Finally back* after not having internet for five days. The remnants of Philippe came up the coast and merged with another system. Sustained winds of about 40 MPH with tropical storm strength gusts may not seem like a huge deal, but NH is almost entirely covered by trees. So, about 300k people were left without power just in NH, with more in Massachusetts and a ton more up in Maine.

AFAIK, just about everyone in the state is fine. One guy died while working on a line because the lift bucket he was standing in touched a live wire, but otherwise we're a hearty bunch. We deal with nor'easters, blizzards, and ice storms fairly regularly.

*I lurked and wrote a post while on my phone, but didn't do more because phone browsers suck.

So I have a nut allergy, yeah? So at hospitals they give me the food for people with nut allergies, yeah? So you'd think there's no chance I could ever accidentally ingest nuts here of all places, yeah?
