No one is 'truly Bjorkish' besides Bjork, of course, she has that unique style. However there are some singers who have a style at least reminiscent of her (maybe they were inspired by her?), and when they also happen to be good vocalists, I think their vocals sound awesome too.
Get this song, it's not Bjork, but the vocalist very much reminds me of Bjork (I also love the song, one of Royksopp's best. And in fact, I'd say the whole album that this song is from (their 2nd album, "The Understanding"), is a masterpiece. But their other albums are rather "meh") :
They certainly don't have the power that Bjork's vocals have. But I certainly like them and they do remind me of her a bit. What do you think?
Actually this is the first time I've heard one of her albums. Everybody knows "Human Behavior." If neither you nor Jack heard it I'm going to feel old lol. I noticed "Utopia" on the new music section on my Napster.
That Royskopp video is cool. The singer is Hawt!
Love her voice. I don't think she's trying to sound like Bjork, I think they have similar accents.
As I told Jack, my brain works overtime listening to Bjork. The closest I remember hearing is experimental music. It's super cool!

I've not heard any of the albums she did since "Homogenic" yet 
I didn't know you guys even knew of Bjork let alone loved her music! I'm sorry that I assumed you guys didn't! Just few Americans seem aware of her in my experience.

Was just listening to "Features, Creatures." When I thought about the lyrics I found it to be quite haunting. Wish I could relate more to the relationship stuff in the other songs. But in time.

My wife just told me I can't verbally abuse the pet psychic at the dog show. Damn........... not sure if I want to go now.
Will still probably go. Want to see if the dog cannabis vender is there.
