Lmao. LD50 is the dosage that would be lethal to ingest. The term really applies to drugs, I was just joking. A common side effect of weed is immense hunger and cravings.

I'd normally agree with you, if we're talking about the chalky things that inevitably end up in bean salads - which by the way, are universally nasty - but puree that with some olive and sesame oil, garlic, and whatever other magic goes into hummus and it's transformed into something else entirely.

Similar with falafel, though there is IMO a lot of -nasty- stuff around. The good stuff is amazing.

Also, if you don't like hummus, try baba ghanouj, it's similar to hummus but made with eggplant.

Puttering around. Cut 2 sheets of drywall and brought them up to the 2nd floor, did some insulating with a can of spray foam, picked up a couple of things at the store, and currently making a pot of beef stew.

Just finished the installation of security cameras to cover the front of the house. Next time someone vandalizes my property, I'll have video feed. The Nightwatcher I installed years ago doesn't seem to record much, but does keep the riffraff down, just seeing it light up and scan. Didn't stop some schlub from cutting branches off one of our new trees, a few days ago, which the camera did not record. To quote Paul Gilbert, "Get Out of My Yard!"
