I dunno the Sabra brand hummus is cheap enough that I wouldn't bother unless I could do better, and maybe not even then.
I've found that Sabra is my least favorite brand. Even the generic stuff is better, and that stuff saves me the trouble of mixing the hummus together with its flavoring.
Does anyone really prefer to have their sun-dried tomato flavoring as an island in the middle of plain hummus? Not me! RE: What's everyone up to right now?

I'd like to make my own hummus because of the sodium content in the packaged ones
I hate chick peas in general. Never did like the texture. Yuck.

Yeah, Condiment Island is a bit weird. I can mix it up, but that gets sloppy (maybe my fault).
I love chickpeas for chili (I hate kidney beans).
