What's everyone up to right now?

Ran errands -- gym and then shopping -- and am currently sitting here snockered after consuming a mini-bottle of prosecco with my pasta supper. Om nom nom!
Sitting on the couch in my underwear watching DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
So far I give it 5/10. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???"
choking down something for breakfast - the hardest meal of the day for me now.
In good news, I don't think I've lost any more weight since I last weighed in at the doctor if you factor in a pound or so for a shirt and a sweatshirt rather than a hospital gown. So in chemo I gained ten or so pounds, getting to about 167lb, and since surgery in December I've lost about twenty - yesterday I weighed in at 145.5lb and my pulse rate was really low but blood pressure was fine. Weird. In any case, my goal remains to maintain weight and get enough protein which is hard because I'm already sick of protein shakes and the protein bars I bought to supplement the shakes are chewy, dense, and hard to eat for me. Yesterday I about barfed it up before I'd even left for work. Having no appetite sucks.

Taking Allie dog for a short walk before work.
Slept in till 6:15, I start a new shift today - alternating between 5 on two off and 4 on 3 off. The Atkins chocolate ones aren't terrible, Premier Protein chocolate also also better than average. I'm not saying they're good but they're not as bad. I have a shipment of assorted flavors coming from Amazon, maybe they'll be better. Atkins also makes high priteun low carb candy bars that are actually pretty good. I'm doing the Premier Protein Vanilla shakes and I'm thoroughly sick of them already and I've only drank like six of them. I was at Costco the other day to get the chocolate flavor so I could mix it up and walked out with the protein bars instead... I'll look into the Atkins stuff - do you know if they're available in stores or just mail order? Methinks a trip to Freddies is in order... Oo oo! They do that grocery pickup service now, maybe I can search for it through that! Thanks, CD

Hunting down 64bit libraries, equivalent to old 32bit ones, on a work shared system, in the hopes of compiling a very old code on the new 64bit nodes we have.
Last time I tried this, over 6 months ago, I was only partially successful. At that time, the main program got compiled and the new machines cut down processing time from 3 hours to under 10 minutes... but the program to display the results failed due to lack of said 64bit library... I think I found that bugger today! Fingers crossed! Once this is done, I'll just have to push it to the git repository and everyone will be able to use it. Of course, this came about due to another problem popping up. This old experiment is reaching the 100000 pulse mark and most software is expecting 5-digit pulse numbers. All of my codes are now capable of handling 7-digit pulse numbers... that should be enough for another 100 years of fusion plasma research! GIT! KG picked some up the other night. I won't shop there unless I have to. They aren't any cheaper on Amazon but I hate grocery stores in general and they deliver the stuff to my door. I pity the fool who steals my next order off the porch - sixteen 4-packs of protein shakes. (February 9, 2018 at 12:20 pm)Cthulhu Dreaming Wrote: Yeah I know our local Walmart grocery has them.
