Successfully converted 3 non-functioning filter wheels into properly remotely operated filter wheels! Lunch is coming soon and then off to take care of another camera.

What's a filter wheel?

It's a wheel where you can mount some filters so you can then remotely operate it and change the filters in front of your detectors... in this case, cameras.
The filters would typically allow the passage of particular wavelengths so we only image particular electronic jumps in particular atoms, like Carbon III, Beryllium II, Deuterium alpha, etc...

Watching the tube and biding my time until I can take some ibuprofen and order pizza. I'm coming down with a cold and so I have a cough, scratchy throat, and just generally feel unwell. And I've got at least one fairly lengthy post that I need to write tonight. Wishing that I didn't.

I just finished a Duolingo lesson and am about to do a Memorize lesson.  

Leo español mejor que lo escribo. Pero leo y escribo mejor de lo que hablo o escucho.

Duolingo is better for grammer. Memorize has more listening exercises and timed reviews. I need all the help I can get. I'm not good at foreign languages.
