Going through a pile of unopened mail that had built up over the last year. I get a lot of letters detailing just what medical expenses were covered in the last month, which I promptly throw in the trash. But I have to open and look at each one anyway. Meh. Bureaucracy. Now watching the second half of the Timberwolves / Rockets game, seeing as the Twins were losing to the Yankees.

In honour of the rapture that was supposed to happen today (and with an hour and a half left in my time zone), I just downed a mug of La Fin du Monde beer. Have also gone to a clarinet lesson and gotten into some drywall mud to touch up a couple of spots before really getting plastered.

Maybe someone can write a newsfeed parser with a counter that automatically increments the "Failed Predictions" counter at midnight after the prophesied day.  This particular soon-to-be-full-of-fail prediction comes to us courtesy of a chap named David Meade, who's playing silly buggers with astronomy, numerology and Revelation.  (FWIW, there are more than 9 stars in Leo.)
