lol no, we're not moving in together anytime soon. Selling my property has been in the works for awhile. We just met in March. He's a great guy though.

Back from my Saturday evening coffee-and-snack bookstore run.  Sipping Green Chartreuse and researching various psychological techniques including Focusing and self-hypnosis.

Also making a mental list of stuff to give away, as the Winnipeg Spring Giveaway Weekend is next week.  Anyone want a small brown couch and a homemade 19" equipment rack with a whole bunch of spacers and brackets and other hardware?  (No, you may *not* have the stereo receiver or the turntable that are currently sitting on the cart.   )

Questioning my existence.

I spent most of Saturday sleeping and now I'm up in the middle of the night. Feeling like shit.

Upgraded the main drive on my computer. The first drive/SSD that I ordered was D.O.A.. When I first plugged the replacement in, it wasn't detected either. I'm like, this can't be! What am I doing wrong? They couldn't have sent me two bad drives! Fortunately it was just a power connector that had somehow worked loose. The upgrade didn't go completely smoothly, so I had to do the upgrade twice, but things are just peachy now.

Ordered a pickup harness from CBgitty to put in the Cigar Box Kalimba kit that Dad ordered. And later (preferably when it's assembled), I'll probably go to the local cigar lounge and get a bigger cigar box to use as a case. It will be weird to come back there when now that I can actually smell the damn things this time around.

Spent most of the day starting the demolition of a structure known as the Cat Gazebo -- a screened-in area attached to the back of my kitchen. So far I've got about a quarter of the roof off. Plan is to remove sections of roof and then remove each roof truss, dismantling the walls below them as I go.

After removing a section of shingles and breaking through the plywood underneath them, I got smart and hauled out a jigsaw to slice up the plywood.

And when the whole thing is taken apart -- new patio!
