I've finally finished work. I've made so many meals for clients today that I just made myself a vegemite sandwich and a cup of tea for dinner cause I can't be bothered.
I'm new to the last client I had and I just have to go for a walk with him in his electric wheelchair. He's also non-verbal.
So we go down the street and he wheels up this drive way and motions for me to knock on the door.
This lady answers and he doesn't know her from a bar of soap and he's just laughing at me.
Apparently he's done this to other noobs before and thinks it's funny.
I saw the funny side of it a couple of blocks later.
I won't be falling for that again. :-)

About to have a beer as I review some important court documents for the tenth or 100th time. They’re beautiful.

Also... missing food. This diet I’m doing is not gonna work.

I used to consort with a couple of strippers (in the day job) and they'd do this cabbage soup diet. They lost a lot of lbs but they also smelled funny.

Watching television. In about an hour they're airing a film called "The Gate" -- two boys and a girl learn from a heavy-metal record that a gaping backyard hole is the gate to hell. That's such a corny premise that I'm almost tempted to watch. lol.

Interesting Frontline episode tonight. "Myanmar's Killing Fields -- Secret footage reveals the efforts by security forces to kill and expel Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar."

There's also a Twins game on, a repeat, which I accidentally already heard we had won. I'm of a divided mind about watching it. I prefer not knowing the outcome.

Getting ready to order some gyros for dinner. Yum!

Wreaked more havoc on the roof of the gazebo-like object I'm demolishing in the back yard. First half of the roof is almost gone now.

Preparing to haul the last few pieces of my stereo gear downstairs to the living room/music room.

Meanwhile, in the oven, a pork roast is slow-cooking.

Deciding if I want to begin a new series on Netflix called ''The Rain.'' It's about a poisonous rain that contaminates the earth, and it creates an end of the world type of panic. Looks pretty good, ominous. Not sure I can do ominous before bed.
