Got tired of trying to saw my latest wood carving project into submission with the scroll saw. It's gonna be mallet and chisels all the way down, dammit! Dodgy  I really was hoping to get some of the pierced parts done with the saw.

Sorry, some buzz words in there. I don't usually do that. "Pierced" means that the carving has sections that are cut all the way through, the sections aren't necessarily round. I was hoping to cut those parts out with a saw, but can't get into some places with the saw(s) I have, so I have to use a mallet (a type of hammer) and chisels to carve the wood. I was going to be lazy and expedite the completion using the saws, but oh, well. Carving is my therapy; I shouldn't let the trivia annoy me.

Sitting in my second DMV of the day. First one was in and out with plates for the new car. This one is typical hurry up and wait, government bullshit so my daughter can get a new photo ID.
