Is that the human/dandelion hybrid I've been hearing so much about?

Nope, just the word. Never guessed you'd be gravid! HAH!!!

Lol I'm far too old to be gravid. 😂😂😂

RE: What's everyone up to right now?
In addition to the basement work, Dad decided to get these old precision instrument boxes (roughly cigar-box like), and while we're not sure about the three smaller ones, the biggest one (about 13x9.5x5.5") he thinks could potentially be turned into an amp.

And now, I have this idea, springing from two beloved pieces of gear of mine: a Joyo AC-Tone preamp/amp simulator/drive pedal and a Pignose 7-100 amp. The AC-Tone does a damn good job of simulating the famed Vox AC-30 amp. The Pignose is a good, portable amp, even if it's low power (about 5 watts) and prone to distorting if you have it above just audible (especially if you're the sort of guitarist who doesn't really touch the volume knob if you can help it).

So, here's my idea: take the preamp circuit to one of those AC-Tones (they cost between $30 and $40), fuse it with a (fairly low power) power amp circuit, add a speaker (or two) and a line out jack (to plug it into a PA board for larger gigs; the speaker emulation circuit in the AC-tone will serve it well here). We don't know exactly how to pull it off, but I see no reason this can't happen, and if it works, it could potentially be amazing.

Simply put:

This (specifically the big one):

Could become something amazing. And, if we figure out how this works, there's also versions of the AC-Tone that tackle Fender, Marshall, and Mesa-Boogie tones, for fans of those amps. If Dad and I can make it work, we'll share the instructions and, odds are, other people will be able to do the same thing.

Daughter and I went grocery shopping, and then collaborated on a Greek village salad.  That's the kind without lettuce -- it has tomatoes, sweet pepper (we used a yellow one), Kalamata olives, cucumber, an oil-and-vinegar dressing flavoured with oregano, dill, mint, garlic and black pepper, and feta cheese.  There was also supposed to be onion in there, but I forgot all about it.

I also picked up some instant espresso, some ladyfingers, and a tub of Mascarpone cheese.  Forecast for this weekend is tiramisu.  Hungry

Guys, I don't want to make a separate thread just for this, but I'm desperate for someone to translate roughly what the 3 and 4th (woman) judge have to say to him.
It's very moving! It's in Russian or Ukrainian? It's had over 5 million views.

I just took the first step toward realizing a little dream my wife and I have been talking about for a few years: leaving Louisiana and moving to Ohio to be near the (adult) kids and grandchildren. I submitted my resume to a private business jet charter and aircraft management company. The job I applied for is remarkably similar to what I do now -- just involving aircraft rather than cargo vessels.

We'll see how it goes.

In bed, listening to a newly bought doom metal record before sleeping. Good stuff.

Binge watching Mr Mercedes. Well, binge for me is one episode a night.
