What's everyone up to right now?

Just got the news - finally - that my cat has cancer - a form of large cell lymphoma.
He starts chemo on Thursday Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???"
Just finished my Mental Health First Aid course.
Very insightful and I also got a heap of contacts and mental health places to add to my tool kit. Also got invited to a disability concert on Friday night so I've decided to take my daughter along. I'm hoping that with more exposure she'll get used to seeing people with disabilities which may nip some discrimination in the bud before it occurs. "Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.
Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped. Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses. Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder. Vote "yes" on Proposition 1321. Think of some kids. Some kids."
Psyching myself up for a dental appointment later, really bad toothache for a few days, I'm hoping he doesn't have to whip it out

You won't feel that way when he's been at your mouth with his knob for far longer than it would have taken with the drill.
Well, I've caught up on the forum, and read the daily news. And now I'm bored.
