FINALLY got the access codes necessary to actually read the Business 101 text, mere hours before the third class sessions. And from a different teacher in the same department. And yes, it works.
I just bought an edition of Flowers of Evil and Paris Spleen and Nella Larson's Passing to celebrate.

Just got back from the dentist. Did some shopping on the way home. Currently watching a rebroadcast of the Bengals / Falcons football game.
I have a craving for a Chipotle burrito bowl, so I think I'll eat out tonight. 
Just got back to the office from lunch (miso soup, seaweed salad, asparagus roll, tea) and was informed that I have another week of vacation that I must use before the end of the year, or lose it (according to a newly adopted vacation policy). Previously, we had been allowed to roll vacation time over to the next calendar year.
Since I just returned from vacation, I don't have any plans or strong desire to travel somewhere again in the short term. But if they want to pay me to sit on my ass at home for a week, who am I to complain? 
Went out and got my hair touched up.
Made good progress on the last phase of my demolition project: I've removed all the trim boards and breached the wall between the study closet and the closet in the spare bedroom (which needed to be done before closing off the wall on the study side. Oh, and it was snowing in Winnipeg this afternoon. I came out of the hair salon and discovered three inches of wet, heavy stuff on my car. It's supposed to warm up again, back to near-normal temperatures, but in the meantime -- bleah!
It's raining cats and dogs outside. It looks like I won't be going to Chipotle for dinner after all unless I care to brave the rain.
Just confirmed I’m going under the knife next week.
