Dad and I did have plans over potentially going up to Wisconsin for a sister-in-law's funeral (or memorial service), and I've been dreading it because I know bugger-all about her and honestly, don't care that much. I'm aware that that might sound douchey, but, the thing is, she's pretty much a stranger to me. I know her husband's a right-winger with a history as a Sandy Hook Truther and who eventually moved to Ecuador, but nothing about this wife. Try going to the nearest funeral home at a convenient time and attend the funeral of some randy you don't even know. That's damn close to the level I'm at here.
That said, Dad's back is acting up and he thinks that things won't be good for the three-plus hour drive. So, it looks like he'll have to say this: And fortunately, he's confirmed that the two hours plus two intermissions to see "Skin of Our Teeth" is a different animal for him, provided he at least has proper support.
