I had a friend back in the '60s who put a 383 into a '63 Dodge Dart. He had to custom-make the exhaust headers to go through the sheet metal around the engine, because there was no room in the engine compartment for them. It was called "Dart Sharpener" in that issue of Hot Rod Magazine when it was published.

It was reasonably fast...

Enjoying a bit of artisan cheddar I plucked out of the reduced bin. Sell by of 10/14, so I'm getting serious about it.

I don't think I've ever copped to being a cheesewhore before now. The under 5 dollar bin at the cheesemonger is my weakness. Sometimes oddly shaped, undersized, or otherwise aesthetically undesirable or near sell-by hunks of cheesy ambrosia. If not for this place, I would not have a weakness for manchego or aged goat gouda.

I blame my addiction on them.

You're the first person I've seen in any atheist forum with an interest in astronomy. Back in the 1960's I had my own astronomical observatory and managed an amateur group called The Rock Valley Meteor Society.

I'm pretty sure there are at least a couple of other astronomers around AF.

Big fan in my preteen years, visiting the Dow Planetarium in Montreal, learning how to identify constellations, and following all the NASA launches.  Joined the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada in 2017, and probably learned more in the last year and a half than in the rest of my life put together.

Also got to see my second total solar eclipse last August (went down to Carbondale, IL and *almost* got clouded out, but did see some of totality).  I'm that strange person who collars total strangers on the sidewalk in front of my house when watching partial solar eclipses through #14 welder's glass:  "Lookit!  An eclipse!"

Spent most of today continuing with my study renovations, and working through a few pieces on my clarinet.  Currently waiting for some spare ribs baking in the oven, seasoned with onion, garlic, and smoked paprika.

Well, there's a couple more things we have in common. For a while, during the early 1980's, I took music lessons and played the cello.

I also like to cook. I prepared Baby Back Ribs for lunch a few days ago.
