It wasn't even that so much, to be honest. I'd given up much of my time and many of my days, the latest being most of last Friday, doing things for her which she cannot and for which she trusts nobody else. Not to mention literally hours on end on the phone, discussing troubles in her life and providing positive support. Then when I stupidly thought I could rely on just a little of that support myself, I get slapped back down into my place with no obvious sign of reprieve. Ok, I concede I was drunk and, while not an excuse, that did impair my judgement such that I worded things wrong. Yes I made a mistake. I do that; I'm nominally a bloke. But I was also so alone and hurting like hell - still am, in fact - and while I have a little hope that she will at least allow me a window of opportunity to make amends, that hope is feeling very lost.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Since Valentines Day is bitter-sweet for me, and since my boyfriend has to work tonight and I don't, right now I'm sitting at home, drinking vodka with an orange soda chaser.
If I start leaving some bizarre posts in another hour or so, that's just the booze talking.

I keep listening, but my booze never talks. Maybe I'm buying the wrong stuff.
Still waiting for my health to level out and return me to normal. Not sure I'd recognize it if it does. Took sleeping meds. Hoping to wake feeling different.

Ambien only puts you to sleep for 3-4 hours then lets up. So, true to form, I'm awake. Time for booze and seroquel.

Up, true to form, at 5am. Just had multigrain toast with peanut butter and marmalade and a Nutrigrain bar.
On Wed., I had grocery shopped and bought a jar of PB from a 50% off bin, and when I paid for it, the plastic jar seemed mushy, so I chucked it. ZTurns out with this new jar of the same brand, it's the same way. So it looks like I was overcautious.
SDSU softball at 2pm vs. Texas State. I might mosey on over early for lunch. Not sure yet. Watch some Sochi until then, I guess. Didn't see much yesterday.
