People are getting lots of advance warnings and police are outright saying that if you stay behind you will be burnt alive.
The evacuations aren't voluntary, they're being enforced, so hopefully no one dies.
The valley that's burning at the moment is one my favourite places in the world.
It's kinda hard to believe.

Man, that sucks. I've had fires raging in the vicinity, but have never had to evacuate. I hope it turns out OK.

Just read about the Queensland fires... hope everyone you know is ok, LL. (And just, everyone, in general too.) Seems pretty serious.
I've just finished writing a 3 min speech for a second-cousin who's like nine years old. Pretty annoying to see he's not writing it himself, but when your mom tells you to do something for your cousin, you do it, I guess.
The word bed actually looks like a bed.
