Mackerrel fillets and football. I'm watching the Giants / Bears game, and so far, it's not looking to be the walkaway win for my team that I hoped for and expected.
If the Bears lose, that gives WHEELZ an additional game up in the pick'em league, and he's already ahead of me.

Just finished my Sunday dinner, I have to say that my Yorkshire puddings were fantastic. I don't normally blow my own trumpet but they were the best Yorkies I've ever eaten.

I googled Yorkshire pudding. I was expecting an actual pudding. It looks like some kind of biscuit

It's made from flour eggs and milk... It has a fluffy texture and is eaten with a roast dinner, I like mine soaked with gravy.

Not really a pastry.. Imagine a pancake but more airy, they don't taste sweet at all and go great with gravy.

I see. I'm sure plum pudding is a pastry though. I've been wanting to taste it for some time now but don't know where its served.

Finally got to Half-Price Books today. I got Atwood's The Blind Assassin, Pynchon's Bleeding Edge, Three plays by Noel Coward, McDonagh's Cripple of Inishmaan, a book about the Origins of the Final Solution, DVDs of Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Titus, and a cheap set of earbuds because my previous pair were starting to go mono and my backup kept interrupting my flow of music trying to invoke Siri at random intervals.
Comparing the Universal Oneness of All Life to Yo Mama since 2010.
I was born with the gift of laughter and a sense the world is mad.

Texting with an old friend. Watching football. Chatting on the forums.

I lost with a Chicago pick on that one as well. I saw the last score in regulation and I saw OT. I moved into sole place of first place for the first time this year though with other picks. I took a two point lead on second place. We pick every game each year and highest score wins. If someone is the only person to pick the right team in a week then they get an extra point for that game.
