Looking for something to watch on Netflix. A few weeks ago Netflix UK and Ireland deleted over half their content and I had no interest in most of what was left. I was going to unsubscribe from the service, but now they've added some new stuff so I might keep it. It's annoying that the "Recently Added" list has gone, so it's difficult to find all the new stuff.

Same here. The old category system used to make it a lot easier. Now it's almost as bad as lovefilm for massive vague lists of content.
It was even harder to find stuff to watch when my sister lived here and we had to find something we both wanted to watch, but she loved out on the 5th so I live alone now and can watch whatever I want. I have decided on The Smurfs. :D

In other news, just saw this headline for a reddit link:

"Alcohol, tobacco, drug use far higher in severely mentally ill: In the largest ever assessment, researchers have found that rates of smoking, drinking and drug use are significantly higher among those who have psychotic disorders than among those in the general population"

Did not click, but had to chuckle. No shit people like me use more drugs, you would too.

It makes a certain amount of folksy sense, but there's a big difference between "makes sense" and "is true." It makes sense that people on welfare would use drugs at a higher rate than the average, but it's not true. And having simply read the headline, you don't know how well founded the result is. I probably wouldn't click either, though. Whether that's because I already knew (or thought I knew) that tobacco and alcohol use is higher in people with depression, or just me falling prey to "makes sense" logic, I don't know.

Drinking coffee and cola. I think I may be out of the woods. I didn't get to sleep until 4 am last night, and the pattern of my sleep was a lot more like it was before I started that icky lamotrigine. I don't know whether the large dose of perphenazine a couple days ago had anything to do with it or not, but it "makes sense."

The Smurfs is a shitty movie. I'm surprised. I turned it off and I'm watching Dexter Season 8 instead.
