Watching The Snowman for the seven hundredth time.
Three weeks ago I set myself a reminder to hook my Bluray writer back up to the computer so that I could install my backup program and get my computer protected in case anything happened to the boot disk. Well, every day I would dutifully reset the reminder to the next day, for three whole weeks. Today I finally got around to doing it. Not so much to back up my hard drive, but I've got DVD movies that are due back at the library, so rather than renew them, I thought I'd rip the movies to disk, transcode them with Handbrake, and put them on a USB stick to watch them on my Roku. That is yet to be done. But as a side effect, I did get my backup software installed, the boot disk backed up, and an emergency rescue USB stick created. Hopefully I'll get the movies ripped later. Right now I'm expecting a visit from my nurse. So, all in all, I got something done today. Later I will hit the library.
