I shall never understand gift cards for a particular store... What's wrong with giving actual money that can be spent at any store?

It's sort of a compromise. It's a gift card, so it's impersonal, but it's for something specific, making it slightly more relevant to the person and their likes.

Drinking coffee and listening to Amy Winehouse. For some reason, the Amazon music app on my Fire tablet is breaking up a large folder of songs, each of which has the same album name, up into separate albums by artist. This results in a few hundred such 'albums' that should all be one album, forcing me to scroll forever to reach music alphabetically following it, and preventing me from playing the virtual album in the normal, by album way. So, I'm going to try to get to the bottom of that and fix it.
