The battery arrived. But then Dad figured out that the battery replacement would be a more difficult process this time around since it involved taking off the bottom of the laptop and he decided to take it to CPR, a computer repair place in Village Crossing. It took 45 minutes, and we went to Best Buy to kill time. I managed to get some Blu-Rays, but I accidentally forgot that I already had a BR of Moon. Well, at least I got Three Billboards and The Apartment, which I didn't have (well, I have a DVD of the latter, but no Blu-Ray until today.) And maybe I can find another Blu-Ray in the clearance bin when I come back later. There were a few other interesting ones that I passed over.

Just got home from visiting Mum at the aged care facility. It's very draining.

The place is of excellent standard, and the staff are terrific. Mum decided when it was time for her to go into care. She was 91 and could no longer be cared for at home by my sister

Just over a year later, she seems to be crumbling away, physically and mentally. She is still quite lucid, but fading. I hate to see her like that, I feel so helpless.
