Today's Business Law class was stressful. I got 74% and the teacher was so disappointed in us that he threatened that, if we miss any of the first 25 questions on the next exam, we fail the whole thing.

That said, I did my oral brief on Travelers v. Stedman and totally nailed it.

Another minor disappointment is that I finally reached the 35,000 mile mark on my Elantra and, sadly, I couldn't commemorate the moment because I was driving, and by the time I had the opportunity to stop, it had reached 35003 miles.

On a better note, I was listening to the new Ry Cooder album and this song really spoke to me:

I just got some old school mango skunk from my cousin who was passing through.
He's on a 2000 km journey and my place is 1200k's into it.
I haven't seen him for a couple of years and was good to catch up.
Also nice to smoke the green, green grass from home.

So I’m in the bathroom cuz, y’know, bodily functions, when I notice a wee lil spider in the corner spinning up a web. He’s no bigger than a pea, legs and all. I’ve been watching him work, and it’s just amazing how dedicated he is. He’s made multiple passes to each wall, daintily adding more and more with each go, stopping every so often as if to observe his creation.

So now I’m having a sort of existential crisis. Do I let him stay there with his marvelous lil web where there’s a good chance of him starving, or do I ruin all of his hard work and paper/cup him so I can put him outside where the bugs actually live?

SHE can make another web in jig time, so it'll do no harm to put HER outside.

Welp, today was not a good day. I lost my phone holster and tried to go to Best Buy for another one. They did not have one. I eventually had to deconstruct my bed before I could find it again. And then, just before deconstructing the bed, I removed the plug in my laptop. When I plugged it back in, I got a message from Power Manager saying "The AC power adapter is not recognized. System Performance will be impacted. Please connect the correct Dell AC power adapter for best system operation. This adapter may not provide sufficient power to operate the system. Your system performance will be impacted. Ensure the plug is inserted completely for best system operation. Connect a Dell 45W AC adapter or higher." As I write this, it says "87% Available, plugged in." (and shortly after writing it, it said 86% available.) It doesn't say whether it's charging or not, and given that I'm seeing that number dwindle, I think it's not charging. For the record, that adapter it says is not recognised was the one it came with.
