Good news: the people at CPS found out where the problem lies: a connection in the jack came loose, but can’t be resoldered because it’s under epoxy, so he’s had to get a a new jack to fix it.
Bad news: it won’t be here until Tuesday, so I’ll have to deal with a laptop that won’t hold a charge for three more fucking days. But at least as long as I keep it plugged in, it will still run, even as the battery meter is officially running down.
The whatever: this week in the Deep Hurting Project will be The NeverEnding Story III.

Just finished watering the garden.
I had high hopes today.
A new client, old provider ditched, we come in and clean up the mess.
I'd met the client in a group setting and he didn't seem too complicated.
It was nice to be having an easy client for once.
I drive around the corner, in view of his flat and he's standing on the footpath with his dick out, fiddling around.
That wasn't in the notes.
Can't things ever be fucking easy just for once?

Well, bad news on the laptop front: apparently the problem was in the power supply all along, so he opened it up for nothing. Dad spent a few minutes charging over at Best Buy with a certified charger. It ended up at 37% and it's at 35% now. They wouldn't let us have one, but they ordered one. It will be here Thursday morning. Will use laptop as little as possible until then.
