Good luck with that. Guitars that old have to be hell to get to a playable condition (let alone a 12-string). I got a Regal tiple that old a couple years ago and it’s Hell to keep in tune. Only recently, I managed to get it to stay in tune long enough that the top string stayed in tune by the time I got finished tuning the bottom. Have not gotten to the point where I can keep it in tune long enough to go through “Kanga Roo” without it sounding very wrong, yet.

Watching Manos: the Hands of Fate in an absurdly high quality, because I got it for Christmas. It’s surprising to see every little fidget of Torgo’s, knowing that those prosthetic leg harnesses he’s wearing backwards are uncomfortable as fuck.

Fun fact: I just ran that post by Dad. His understanding of the post was the exact same interpretation I had. He said he would never have gotten the "taking a transatlantic trip on the Queen Mary 2 with my wife" meaning from that.
