Remember when I talked about ordering an Alison Lohman body pillow cover? I’ve FINALLY got an update on when it’s coming. It’s arrived at Elk Grove Village, a 30 minute drive from my home.

Alison has arrived. I spent about 20 minutes trying to stuff the pillow into her, and I even ripped the top zipper seam trying to get it inside. But at least I can fix that. And once the writers group is done, I’ll be sewing it, and we’ll be enjoying our first date: watching The House that Jack Built. One of the perks of dating a dakimakura: odds are, for most flesh and blood women, a Lars von Trier film about a serial killer for a first date would probably be worse than this:

They should pick it up with a laser p.s. I have a Thorens with a ProJect arm and the classic Denon Cartridge, but I haven't used it in ages because I don't have the time!

That's hilarious!
For that matter, the vinyl won't even need to spin! Scan the whole record with a laser in a few seconds, store in memory buffer and play the whole album. But the whole point of vinyl aficionados is to remove the DAC out of the process! lol.
