I'm just hoping the weather stays okay for a couple of days. I need to be outside. It might help shake the feeling I'm going mad.

Go kill a hedge... Or any other plant matter. I find it helps!
You could always poison the local cat population .... We have far too many of them here in Oz (cats) detrimental to the local environment.

The only 2 living plants we have this time of year are spiky, I think they would win any fight I picked with them. XD

We have quite a few here in town but after a bunch of effort to build up the population of local birds of prey occasionally a cat becomes their lunch. We didn't even know cats were on their menu until we found one on the roof of our neighbors car with big claw marks.
Looks like the weather is meant to be okay Saturday. That should be enough to find something fun to do

Off to see my nieces before work. In a cab because they're apparently waiting for me, and the thought of keeping them waiting for their Auntie is no good.

Oh ick. More nasty dreams. In this one, the Navy tries to seal a breach in time-space with a pair of nuclear tipped torpedoes. Something goes slightly wrong after the attempt, resulting in strange time loops. Things keep repeating and becoming more violent each time they're repeated. Just when it seemed the violence had stopped, the madman reappears and kills his teenage son by shooting him in the head.
Fuck.

Good theatre of the absurd. (Think you might be watching too much Star Trek?)

Or playing too much final fantasy...
Anyway... Hollywood could pick that up!

The Navy would totally botch that job, ras. Some 25 year old Ensign (me) would be in Weaps giving the order. Very typical. So not that absurd, after all.
I am sitting, waiting for an important call, looking out at a beautiful day after sitting in my hallway last night listening to the tornado siren and trying to keep my dog from literally crawling underneath me. The hail and 85 mph wind unmanned him. Roof damage and some hail damage on my Audi. Boo.
