"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post

Looking at apartments online. And I wish I could go look at them in person, but apartment tours are all kinda shut down right now. Finding a new apartment is a bitch right now; I'm honestly looking at just moving back to a complex I had previously lived in.
I live on facebook. Come see me there. http://www.facebook.com/tara.rizzatto

Living in a houseboat was a big dream of mine once.
On the Murray River in South Aus, a plank and a motorbike to get to work on the farms, picking stone fruit and oranges.
Working the vineyards in the off season.
Maybe accommodate the odd female backpacker here and there. :-)

RE: What's everyone up to right now?
One day I was bored and I checked to see how Fredrik Knudsen's next episode of Down the Rabbit Hole was going, trying to glean some clues, and I saw this very intriguing tweet (or pair thereof):

Quote:I just ordered a book for research on the next Down the Rabbit Hole topic. It's been out of print for decades. I couldn't find any summary, nor any professional reviews, nor any information about the author who apparently wrote three books and then disappeared.

The lone online reviewer spends most of his four lines on an anecdote reminiscing about how his father would drink automotive coolant.

He gave the book four stars.

Naturally, this intrigued me, but this gave me little to go on. Fortunately, two and a half months later, the episode finally came up, and in a pinned comment, he pointed out the two books he used.

Here's the review:
Quote:Read this in the 80s after the use of anti-freeze in the Austrian wine was brought to everyone's attention. Mind you, my dad used to test the strength of the anti-freeze in coolant by how sweet it tasted... So Austrian wine bolstered by grape juice and anti-freeze wasn't as daft as it sounds.
