Pain isn't letting up that easy. It’s almost like the Propofol or whatever other painkillers were in the IV existed just to defer the pain.
Take your pain meds every 4 hours or however they prescribed them to stay ahead of the pain. If you wait till it hurts it takes longer for there to be any relief. And don't try to do too much; you need to rest to let your body heal.
^This is seriously good advice. Even if your prescription says, 'Take as needed for pain', that will never work. Time how long it takes for your pain to resurface, then take your med before the time is up. You'll be more comfortable for a longer period of time.

One of my favourite lines from that is after Claudius stumbles through the atrium trying to get away from Tiberius, and knocking a few things over in the process, Tiberius looks at Livia and says, ‘That grandson of yours could destroy the Empire simply by strolling through it.’

Watching the Vikings. We've got a night game this week. We suck at night games.

I must admit that this is one of my favorite lines too. I also enjoy the scene in which he is invited to dine with his aged grandmother Livia, and she confides that she may have been mistaken in thinking he was a fool for nearly 40 years, and without stuttering he replies, "Grandmother, after all these years you didn't invite me here just to tell me this."
