Switched from making quilts back to masks yesterday. Just put everything away for tonight. Husband has the Clemson game on. Guess I will relax and watch it for a while.

I’m 99% certain that The crying tears of blood thing is behind me now. Indeed, a lot of the nasal bleeding has staunched now that I’m allowed to use a saline solution in each nostril and use a Neo-soaked q-tip to wipe off the blood. Unfortunately, this has led to another problem (probably) with some rather extreme sinus pressure: it’s been extreme enough that, at points, It felt like every square millimeter on my face between the bottom boundary of my eyes and the back most part of my jaw was being drilled into. Eventually, I took 2 Norco pills (the maximum allowed in a 4-hour period) and it subsumed into a dull ache. My throat is sore nonstop and My diaphragm hurts, which kind of affects my ability to breathe. I hope to Hell I’m well enough to go to the store tomorrow. Is this normal, AreWeThereYet?

On a lighter note, I managed to figure out how to use the laminating machine and made a wallet-sized card with the Litany Against Fear in both English and German (in a font based on an old Olympia Congress typewriter, except when some peculiarities of the German language forced me to change to Courier). This was before the middle half of my face turned into the box of pain.

Also, in some more TMI effects, I haven’t been able to Jack off in two days, or even crap today, though the latter may be a function of my low appetite.

Yeah, it sounds familiar to me.  When they have drilled into your skull and messed with your sinuses things get inflamed as they are healing.  There were a couple rough days after my surgery.  Make sure you get plenty of rest and use the pain meds to stay ahead of the pain instead of trying to stop the pain once it starts.  With your sinuses all packed it can be hard to swallow and breathe but, trust me, once you get through this you will be glad you did it.

edit - It's a lot like having the absolute worst sinus infection ever. But the results are worth it. Try to relax and get some rest. Sleeping through a lot of the healing time makes it easier.

Drinking Coke and watching the pre-game football shows. There's a whole lot of nothing on at noon, so I may skip the noon games and do housework.

Welp, looks like the biggest change since yesterday afternoon is that the nasal discharge is clearer. Pain isn't letting up that easy. It’s almost like the Propofol or whatever other painkillers were in the IV existed just to defer the pain.

Take your pain meds every 4 hours or however they prescribed them to stay ahead of the pain.  If you wait till it hurts it takes longer for there to be any relief.  And don't try to do too much; you need to rest to let your body heal.
