Even as a trained accountant I can spot the science fails and outright lies. I stopped at the point where he asserted that animal forms appeared out of nowhere during the Cambrian explosion.

A) No they didn't. There was animal life before the Cambrian explosion (and scam artists like the "Discovery" "Institue" are trying tioassert this fact disproves evolution) and B) even if he was right that does nothing for either disproving evolution or proving cretinism. All the evidence for evolution still stands even if the Cambrian explosion was the genesis for animal life.

I bought some Brie last night.  I've tasted it once or twice when other people have served it, but have no real idea what Brie tastes like.  I bought a tangy variant, so I'll probably still be left with some mystery.

Put baking soda into the fridge with it. Brie can get quite smelly.

I survived on those things for about a year and a half.  I can't drink the damn things any more.

I have lost an insane amount of weight this year and it wasn't on purpose and it's too much.  For some reason I don't seem to be absorbing calories or vitamins, etc.  Monday morning I have a CT scan scheduled and the following week a visit to a hematologist/oncologist.  So many people struggle to lose weight and the only way I could lose more at this point is to have someone remove a limb.  sigh

Hope they figure out what's up with you and get it sorted soon.

Just went to the library, and for the first time since shit got real, the library’s finally able to check out the Full CD collection and not whatever happened to A) have been released recently, or B) was actually out of circulation at the time and got returned after they started allowing returns in August. Sadly, it’s still in a pick up and go state. Plus, only six of the eight CDs I put on hold yesterday ended up being available (in this case, the latest album by Toro y Moi, a collection of Vanilla Fudge, and the second-most recent ones by Silversun Pickups, the Magnetic Fields, Ellie Goulding, and the 1975, which leaves only Enya’s Christmas album and Tegan and Sara’s new album, plus a couple that were only on order at the time.) It looks like they have a limit of only putting six items per customer on the hold shelf at a time. Or just per day.
