Watching tonns of "How too's", "Things I wish I'd known" and "Great tips and haxx" about Cyberpunk 2077 game play for when I'm home and playing the game.
Are you playing on a PC? What do you think of the game?

Yup, on PC.
Discovered my old graphics card wasn't up to the task. New one was my x-mas present.
There are a fek tonn of little things that I'm still learning/working out.
Spent about half hour walking around nekkid since I couldn't innitially figure out the inventory system. Still fumbling through that.
Working out 'Mini map' navigation points is another thing I need a handle on.
I find certain controls/ability things in combat complete @rse. Won't be doing a lot of close combat.
Yes, as nearly every other player reports, driving cars is also @rse. Bikes handle quite well, though.
I think a better throttle control would help with the vehicles in general. Currently it's stop or flat-chat.
Brick's acces code is;
Because finding where the Ganger's squirreled it away took me seemingly forever.
Just thoughts after day or so of playing. Am liking the gun stuff. Buy I'm not a hard core FPSer.
Do we maybe, actually want a new 'Gamer' thread for the chat about it, Choombatta?
Cheers.

I think there's already a gaming thread. It may be a bit dusty. It sounds interesting but I'm mostly curious. I've already got a butt ton of games, and when it comes to pricey games, Red Dead Redemption II and Anno 1800 Complete would be before it in line. I've been surprised that my old Radeon 7770 has handled most of my games, but then the bulk of my games aren't overly demanding. I'm in the process of trying to get Madden NFL 21 to run, but I think that's more a problem of Windows being broken than any hardware issue. I'm swapping out my old computer guts for new, and I'll know more once I've done that.

Just took a picture and sent it to my husband of yet another squirrel thumbing its nose at husband's attempts to keep him out of the bird feeder.

Trying to figure out if I can use an NVME SSD via an adapter on a P45 based motherboard running Windows XP. I think the shortcut answer is just to try it.
As if I don't have enough to do already.

Went back to the store where I worked for the first time in several month to pick up some checks. It was an emotionally overwhelming experience, especially as I'm torn between several factors, most notably A) my feelings of obligation to the store, and B) the fact that I had the bad luck to develop a chronic cough with no apparent cause that the doctors can find at what is probably the worst time in the recent history of the world to do so.

When this COVID mess first started I had my doctor take me off Lisinopril as one of the side effects is a hacking dry cough. I wasn't in the mood to get shot while trying to scavenge some toilet paper and Lysol wipes from the grocery store. Luckily the replacement medication erased the cough in a matter of days.

Well, I don't take Lisinopril, and, checking the meds I was taking before this cough started, none of them list coughing as a side effect.

Allergies? Has something changed in your home or have you changed detergent or fabric softener? Added fragrance of some sort to the house? It could be a tricky thing to narrow it down if you have no other symptoms.
