What's everyone up to right now?

Bought me another bottle of scotch today. That makes seven new bottles. Tonight it's the Cragganmore 12. That river ain't running dry anytime soon.

Can't keep my cats off the brooder. It's worse than fry - at least they know they don't wanna get wet. With the brooder, they sun themselves in the window while warming their nips on the mesh above the lamp to the sound of dinner on the wing.
One of the fluffy orange ones, Tahm Kench, managed to pull a staple and fall in..but she just lay there on the strawbed licking the chicks....which is either precious or the most sinister thing I've ever witnessed.

Herbal tea and scotch. I've been planning a cook-off between two sloppy joe recipes, but I think I'll put that off until tomorrow.
Having a cup of rooibos tea. Covid relief passed the Senate! I just bought a Rosewill 4.5 L hot water pot. There is no greater pleasure than having hot tea water on tap.

I guess Democrats weren’t persuaded by McConnell’s brilliant argument that giving people $1400 is a disincentive for them to go back to work. Opening a bottle of Highland Park scotch. I'm enjoying my new acquisitions, but I have a very limited palate. All I taste in the HP is a large note of black cherry with a hint of smoke.
