Coffee. I'm over an hour past time to do my exercise, but I woke up a couple of hours late today, so that's okay.
I need to run to Menard's, then I'm doing another sloppy joe recipe cook-off. I'll make three batches, but haven't yet decided on the specifics. Last cook-off, all you could taste was the hot peppers, so I'm sticking with Paprika and a touch of chili powder this time. Items that are new to the mix are allspice, celery salt, liquid smoke, red wine vinegar, and one recipe calls for ketchup and Open Pit barbecue sauce.

I ran errands instead of cooking today. Having a dram of Irish whiskey in honor of The Paddymeister. Put that in your petition and smoke it.

Finally starting to feel a bit better after my brutal dental torture yesterday. I'm already tired of soft foods and am craving something, anything, crunchy...but that would be a terrible idea right now.

I'm not sure if it's odd that I managed to have two consecutive online orders be backordered. The first is 6.5 oz of Light Blue linen spray by Cocoapink (which I hope smells better than the one I bought from Oils Galore and More; at the very least, their customer service is better, with about 12 minutes between emails), which is currently on a 30 business day turnaround time. The second, Kino Lorber has had a sale and, by an extraordinary coincidence, not only were both their Blu-Rays for The Iceman Cometh and Kind Hearts and Coronets selling for only $10 each, but both wound up being placed on back order when I placed the order. At least it doesn't look like Paramount is forcing those two films to go out of print because Paramount Plus.

I'm busy slacking off. I hauled a 7 cu. ft. chest freezer 4 miles on a dolly this afternoon, so I'm taking a break. I'm going to quick run to Aldi's for some honey-battered chicken fingers that I just can't live without.

Heating some beans. I'm going to Maplewood to donate plasma. I likely won't get my new chest freezer unpacked and installed before I leave, and I'm usually not very motivated by the time I get home, so I'll set it up on Sunday. Because it needs to sit 24 hours in its place after moving, it will likely be Monday before I can test it.

Trying to sleep. When I wake up, I'll try to see if my right foot can handle making contact with the floor.

Bach, bourbon, and some leftover corned beef.
