What's everyone up to right now?

Chuckling over my visit to the dentist yesterday. I pointed out that this last two weeks of misery hadn't done a thing to alleviate my dental anxiety. He said he had a bottle of tequila in his office. I passed as I don't like tequila so then he offered scotch.
The work we were supposed to do has been postponed to the 13th. I may have to take up drinking by then.

Didn't get much sleep today. Feeling a little better now that the coffee is kicking in, though.
Yay. The graphics card I bought on eBay has a defective fan that makes a clicking noise. Why do people do things like this?

Just finished grooming dog #3. I can see areas where I need to improve but overall, it's not too bad. They'll be a lot cooler now as the temps are to get up in the 80s next week.

Took an unfortunate fall from a small height onto tile and concrete and am experiencing exquisite muscle spasms and the lovely pain that goes along with it. It's a major holiday through tomorrow so seeing the sawbones has got to wait, unless I want to pay tourist prices for the meds I know I need.

Somehow, I think some butterfly somewhere must have averted certain death, because I managed to find a Blu-Ray copy of Soul for $17.49 at Half-Price Books (less than Amazon Prime, mind you. Less when you consider I used my Dad's educator discount card and got it for 90% of that.) This wouldn't be noteworthy under most circumstances, but it's only been out for about 11 days. All the more surprising considering that I didn't really find any books that piqued my interest this time, except for The Black Dahlia Avenger and maybe Penguin Island (I only bought the former). I also managed to go to Wal-Mart to do what Dad and I usually did in the Before Times and went to Walmart to find some good Blu-rays for an Easter basket (the Bunnies and Peeps were taken care of last Sunday.) This time around, John Wick Chapter 2 and Get Out, taken from a rack that doesn't list prices for some reason, but evidently, they're $6.98.
