Just finished processing payroll. The rest of the week should be fairly easy.

So, we got the 512 Gig MicroSD card, and we spent the next four hours copying the music collection on my portable hard drive (admittedly, neither of us were home for most of it, since I was at work and Dad went down to the shop). Said music collection is about 232 gigabytes, and, if the "created by" dates are any indication, it took about 4 hours, 1 minute, and 2 seconds (not counting all the time it took for the copy to come to terms with the scale of the undertaking.) It's working well, but I can only access the music under "files," but it won't create a typical database. This is either due to a firmware issue, or the database software not being able to handle 75,000 songs.

Fortunately, given that:

• I still tend to listen to albums on my player
  
• The vast majority of the albums in the collection, as I ported them, are in folders sorted into other folders by artist (or composer)
  
• Given the previous bullet point, it might actually be more convenient (less shit to scroll through) to scroll by "First Letter of the artist's name", then by artist, then the album. (Like, go to N, then Neutral Milk Hotel, then In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
  
• This is pretty much how I used the streamers anyway
  

This may not actually be that big a deal.

Nice, I have a new pool myself, not one I planned. My main supply burst and welled up. There goes an acres worth of production and a few years of soil improvement.

Well, I first need to do a little look around...husband said he scooped about a dozen dead little toads from our recent plague out of the pool yesterday.

ICK - I don't mind sharing the pool with a live one now and then but the dead ones...not so much.
