Dont even remeber it`s name.

Fosters, Australian for Horse Piss.

It isn't even that good, mate. I can drink some pretty horrific shit when need arises. I don't think I could choke down a Foster's.

Spot on!

Brewing is an artform not meant to be practiced by criminals in a desert.

Quote: I dont know if it is different where you are from, but people here who keep giggling when they hear a potentialy or absolutly non sexual reference are considered to be ditch digger material.

What's a goddamn ditch digger? Here we call it ghetto, but I sure as hell am not ghetto so what the fuck is a goddamn ditch digger?

Quote:Brewing is an artform not meant to be practiced by criminals in a desert.

I take offense to that reference as well! Most Australians don't even live in the desert, they live on the coast. And my fiancee has a cleaner record
than I do. It's spotless. What's your point?

You really should include emoticons or something, your way of talking is very dry and could be construed as racist.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

A latrine is a ghetto?
I have always thought Ditch = Sewer. Thinking

Most of Australia IS desert, Only the ignorant and asylum seekers think that the 100km coastal strip extends to the entire country.

And YES Foster's is yuk. No one I know will touch it. As for boutique Beers... Largers... etc We here in WA have a very nice selection of Breweries that are no where near desert country.

No, a ditch isn't necessarily to do with a sewer. A ditch can be part of a sewer system. Like a ditch coming from a septic tank for overflow. But that's only for homes out in the middle of nowhere like where I grew up.

The most common ditches are alongside roads to funnel water from rain and whatnot. Ditches are also used in oilfields where possible leaks may occur. A ditch is pretty much a long depression dug out of the ground to funnel liquid runoff in a certain direction.

I dug a few back in my youth.

At the smoke pit now, chain-smoking my menthols. Thinking about wine though.

Dude, I'm drinking Merlot in a coffee cup. Literally at this very moment. We are like captain twins.

What really bakes my noodle is that my common law bro-in-law has a brother who rock climbs full time, too. Weirdness.

Not sleeping.

I went to bed several hours ago, and despite only having slept four hours last night, I can't sleep. (I got up to take some ibuprofen.) I'm used to it taking 4-6 hours for me to fall asleep, but once I do, I at least wind up with enough sleep to allow me to function. Off and on this past year, I've developed a problem where I sleep 3-5 hours, awaken, and can't get back to sleep. And this stuff is driving me batshit crazy. It's not the lack of sleep, it's the total lack of control over it. It's like the sleep god is playing roulette with my ability to sleep, and I have no say in when or how he places the bets. And I no longer have easy access to good sleep meds, which just makes it more frustrating. When I see my psychiatrist in October, I'll see if I can get some ambien. I have frequent occurrence of doing weird shit in the middle of the night with no memory of it when I'm on it, but at least I sleep fairly reliably and predictably on ambien. The only other troubling side effect is that I have trouble remembering events from the day before after I've been on it a while, but I suppose I can live with that.

Ambien is magic. Several years ago when I went through a six-month period of insomnia, the three nights when I managed to get more than two hours of sleep was with Ambien.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
