Searching for something interesting to cook tonight. I've fallen into a rut............ again.

Suggestions?

I recently tried out spicy chicken cheese balls, which turned out really well.

2c biscuit/baking mix (you can make your own, but the boxed stuff is easier)

1/2 milk

2lbs ground chicken 

4 cups shredded cheddar

Whatever assortment of spices you use for chili, plus 1 oz cayenne powder and 4 oz of your favourite hot sauce

Mix it all together and shape into golfball-sized lumps, then bake at 350 for about half an hour.

Goes well with mashed potatoes and fried sweet corn.

Vacuum sealing up a bunch of meat and starting chicken Tikka Masala going in the slow cooker. This is from a kit from Walmart. I tried jar sauce, but because I didn't sear the meat beforehand, it didn't turn out well.

Morning coffee and watching a nature documentary on discovery+. I got a year's subscription for $30, which works out to $2.50 a month. I can live with that even if I don't watch it much.

Just got back from Mattress Firm. I had only planned to look, but I was offered a great deal on a Serta, so I bit. Fortunately, he knocked $100 off the bed and $50 off delivery, but now I've got about $10 to my name after I pay rent and cable. I should get $75 from donating plasma tomorrow, or else I might have to cancel a few streaming TV subscriptions. It was a bit impulsive, but it's just the bed that I was looking for, and it beats taking a gamble on a bed that I haven't tried out beforehand, which is what ordering online amounts to doing.
