So, here’s what’s going down: when tickets went on sale for the Ravinia tickets, Dad accidentally managed to buy our tickets from the wrong place. And, because it’s going to rain tomorrow and we don’t want to see the Zappa Band and King Crimson while dripping wet, we decided to try and upgrade those tickets from lawn to pavilion. We did this exact thing when we went to see The Beach Boys last week with no problems. However, we’re trying to do the same thing for this concert and they’ve decided that they can no longer do that. We’re trying to reason with their tortured logic for why they can’t do that, and at this point, it’s basically turning into:





Unfortunately, it has failed, but at least it looks like the rain will pass by the time we get there. Dad actually bit the bullet and bought a new set of Pavilion tickets.

Battling horn worms on my pepper plants. The count so far is 5, but I have a sneaking suspicion there are more.
