There's a woman on the bus wearing a mask that is printed with a pattern to look like the muzzle of a tiger. It's a bit unsettling to get on the bus and find yourself face-to-face with a tiger.

I went up to the hardware store to get a separator strip for the floor between the bathroom (linoleum-covered) and the hallway (laminate flooring). As I was paying, there was a coof at another register with a plain white mask...on his left ear.

We've a sabbatical program at work for eligible tenured employees that involves a process that includes a lottery. This year 53 of approximately 5000 employees were selected.

I just learned, I finally got lucky and was approved for a four week sabbatical.
