A fly flew into my room last night. It was giant, very quick, very loud, and extremely hard to kill. So, I did what I could to try and get it out. Tried luring it with some honey. No dice. Even tried to smear a little bit of it on one of my posters (well, technically, the plastic that covers it). Still nothing. And, after several hours of trying and failing to get it to bite, I decided to do the unthinkable and leave my door open. It still stayed there when I woke up. But then, something happened. I leave the Venetian blinds to my bedroom windows down (all the better to make sure Dad doesn’t see me jacking off when he’s going out to do yard work,) and it managed to fly in between two of the blinds. And, assuming I don’t open it to check at the wrong time, it’s just reduced to blindly bumping into the blinds and not escaping. And so, I killed it by swatting my hand onto the same part of the blinds where the fly was.

If you accidentally bent you blinds, there is a $10 tool on Amazon called MiniBlindRx. It can bend them back into shape perfectly.

Perhaps, but as long as the chances of Dad accidentally watching me have a J. Arthur remain zero, and I still have the side effect of creating a fly death trap, it’s still perfectly acceptable in my eyes.

Back to sewing.  I have several quilt tops that are done and one that needs to be assembled.  Then I need to put the backing and batting on them all.  Then it will probably be back to mask making as I have several Halloween and Christmas masks partially assembled.

This is when I halfway watch TV.  Still rewatching House.  I am not good at watching TV or movies unless I am also doing something else.

Pondering whether I really need a big SSD as a data drive. Jabra Elite 45h Bluetooth on-ear headphones are on sale at Amazon. They're well-reviewed and 25% off. I don't listen to music on the go much anymore, but that can change. The only real concern is the recent hearing loss in my left ear. I'll try them out and if I like them then I'll keep them.

Set up my new bed-in-a-box mattress. One end is only 13 of the advertised 14 inches, but overall it has inflated to a fairly even surface. I'll give it a day to finish inflation before putting the sheets on it.
