I’m told that taking a daily multi-mineral supplement should fix everything.

Good to hear it sounds easily fixable. A couple years ago I told my cardiologist that I would take the other meds he had me on but not the diurectic. One of the meds I was on was a combination that included the diuretic. One refill that combo wasn't available so I was given each med separately so I performed my own experiment. I didn't take the diurectic and my BP stayed fine and I wasn't swelling up anywhere.
I switched BP meds about a year ago (I have congenitally high blood pressure). The diuretics + losartan seem to work better than the single med I used to be on.

I also made the switch to Losartan but plain with no diuretic added, that's the one I experimented with. I also take Carvedilol.

Currently watching Regular Show on Hulu.
I’m enjoying it, but I’m reminded of one video that’s stuck with me for a while:
Basically, it’s about a meme involving a strange ship between Mordecai and Twilight Sparkle from MLP that keeps getting paired with an obscure song that, honestly, isn’t that good, so, I decided to look for a better song that might be more apropos to pair it with. So, here’s the better song with a verse that juxtaposes wishing upon stars with man-made machines in the sky:
And, because I can’t actually draw, but I do have a MemeMaker app with fonts that look vaguely like ones from each show, I made this:
And because I’m not sure where else I’d put it here, I may as well use this thread.
Comparing the Universal Oneness of All Life to Yo Mama since 2010.
I was born with the gift of laughter and a sense the world is mad.

Wrapping up loose ends at the house before we leave for 7 months. The more loose ends I wrap up, the more I find, and the less I care about them.

Right now it's around noon. A perfect spring day. Much of my garden is in flower. From here I can see the native franjipani , bottlebrush and bird of paradise. The roses are just coming into bloom (there are 20 bushes) and there is a full fence of jasmine just beginning to flower.
Probably do some reading shortly and have lunch. Probably do some painting after lunch. Took art lessons for a year about 5 years ago. Stopped taking lessons when I realised I was never going to be a great painter. I paint only for my own pleasure and satisfaction. Have pretty much run out of wall space. I use acrylics because they're cheap and dry quickly, unlike oil. Last three months I've been learning to paint bamboo. So simple, so hard.
It is now lunch time

Watching baseball. My homemaker didn't show. No show, no call. This is the second time he's done this. I'll have to decide whether that's a deal-breaker or not before I call the company.

Sewing again - still. Making a quilted throw to gift an old friend of mine.
Listening to a podcast I have been enjoying...just learned about it from another podcast I follow so I am way behind and am bingeing. It's called 'Rock N Roll Archaeology' and has some good stories as well as generous clips of great music from back to the 50s. I'm up to the early/mid 60s.

15 inches? Ok John Holmesenmiester.
Well, it's 0730 and I've just had my first jolt of coffee and am awake.
Today is the day I go to "The Hill's Boys'' my old farts group. There are 10 of us, which means five usually manage to make it. I've been a member for five years. There have been 8 deaths, and we have two more ready to pop their clogs from chronic illness. I guess that's to be expected in a group where the average age is late 70's, with several over 80.

Just got the call, an acquaintance of mine (57yo/m) was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Does not have any more medical details, more tests including a marrow biopsy needs to be performed. Emotionally he's all over the place.
