Finished running payroll with the new software that was supposed to make things so much easier...instead it makes everything a giant pain in the ass.
Glad to have that behind me till people start bitching that their pay isn't correct. I may hide on Friday. My doctor's appointment tomorrow has been changed to virtual since we are in the midst of another ice storm. I'm good with that.

Just finished the latest chapter of Joe vs. Elan School. In addition to several moments where you don’t know whether to cheer for him for standing up to people who’ve caused him misery or to worry that he’s devolving into some worrying behavior, the most notable thing is a point where it looks like he accidentally slipped from his pseudonym called himself Josh.

The good: there’s a sale of $3 CDs at Half Price Books and I got 14 of them. 4 of them for my Dad. I’ll be sure to show them To you once I find a stray cat to feed whatever force I need to get my Postimage to recognize the photo stream from my iPad. Rest assured, it is fucking eclectic.
The bad: my grandma in Wisconsin had a major health scare, one severe enough that Dad warned me we might need to go up to Wisconsin. Fortunately, she seems to have improved in the intervening hours, because, like the Elephant Man, she breathes a Hell of a lot better if she’s sitting upright.
